Hwange National Park is situated on the main road between Bulawayo and the world famous Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

Hwange National Park Budget Safaris

Due to the current economic climate, Zimbabwe is no longer the best destination for Hwangwe budget safaris; however as part of a Victoria Falls overland trip the park can be seen at a fairly reasonable cost.

Hwange National Park is home to a number of game species - 105 mammal species, including 19 large herbivores and eight large carnivores.

Activities to enjoy in the park including game drives in 4x4 vehicles, walking safaris and horse back safaris, which provide a unique way to view the multitude of game in the park.

There are a number of good lodges in Hwange National Park, with good facilities and meals on offer.

A highlight to look forward to is enjoying a sundowner while watching game from the veranda of one of the lodges.
