Bulawayo Budget Travel
Zimbabwe’s second largest city, Bulawayo is situated in the South-west of the country and is home to more than a million people. Bulawayo budget travel options are limited due to Zimbabwe's current economic crisis.
Bullawayo is known as the ‘City of Kings’, is a friendly multicultural city with locals able to speak at least three languages (including English, Ndebele, Zulu, Xhosa, Kalanga, Sotho and SeSwati). Majority of the population of Bulawayo belong to the Ndebele ethnic and language group.
Bulawayo Budget Safaris
While the current political and economic crisis in Zimbabwe makes Bulawayo budget safaris a challenge, this city still has a host of attractions to experience.
Long been regarded as Zimbabwe’s business capital, Bulawayo is home to the National Railways of Zimbabwe due to its strategic position near Botswana and South Africa.
Surrounded by beautiful parks and Bulawayo’s wide tree line streets, there are many early Victorian buildings, a legacy of Cecil John Rhodes.
Less than an hour’s drive from Bulawayo is the Matopas National Park which is one of Zimbabwe’s major tourist attractions and highly recommended.
