Along the shores of Lake Kariba lies the safari location of Matusadona National Park. This national park is a combination of elements such as wooded hills, plateaus and magnificent shorelines making it a dramatic setting for a National Park.

Matusadona National Park is surrounded by the Umi river and Sanyati Gorge and covers over 1000 kilometres of wild terrain. Access to the park is via a boat from Lake Kariba - this makes for an interesting and unique journey! A distinctive feature of this section of Lake Kariba is the abundance of dead trees and skeletal trunks protruding from the lake. Coupled with stunning sunsets and wild animals, this makes for some beautiful photography!
