Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe

This area is a National Park that is centred around four spectacular pools that have been formed by the mighty Zambezi River. The area is located in the north and is close to the border of Zambia. With the constant supply of water you will find plenty of islands, sandbanks and lush green vegetation. It also has a dense population of crocodile and hippo. The pools are also regularly visited by herds of elephant and other mammals.

The Mana Pools National Park does allow people to walk around and admire the lush green banks, the cliffs and the floodplains. Canoes can be hired if you wish to enjoy an exciting adventure exploring the Mana Pools National Park.
