A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.
Day 1, Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park
Departing from Vic Falls we travel to Hwange National Park - the largest national Park in Zimbabwe. Here we have the options of checking out the Wild Dog project or taking a night drive.
Day 2, Hwange National Park
A full days game driving awaits. Keep your eyes open and your cameras ready as we traverse the park looking for game.
Day 3, Hwange National Park to Bulawayo
Zimbabwe's second biggest city is our destination today. Bulawayo is steeped in history and boasts city roads wide enough to turn around a full bullock team - which is what they were originally built to accommodate.
Day 4, Bulawayo
Here we visit the Matobo National Park which is renowned for its many leopards, black eagles and rhino. Many caves and rock paintings are evidence of the ancient San inhabitants in this area and Cecil Rhodes (after whom Rhodesia was named) was buried here at his own request.
Day 5, Bulawayo to Great Zimbabwe Ruins
The Great Zimbabwe Ruins is one of the most important archaeological sites in Southern Africa and was once home to over 10,000 people dating back to 1200AD. We spend tonight right on the doorstep allowing time to explore.
Day 6, Great Zimbabwe Ruins to Gweru
The Antelope Park Private Game Reserve has the primary role as a Lion breeding programme, but the farm is also home to numerous antelope species, zebra, elephant and giraffe. Number 1 highlight? Take a lion cub for a walk - an amazing experience!
Day 7, Gweru to Victoria Falls
Today we head west through Bulawayo and onwards to the mighty Victoria Falls - the famous bottleneck of the Zambezi River.
