• Drive carefully ' roads can be poor and wildlife can appear in the middle of the road so keep speed levels down
• If you are staying near or in the game park grounds, do not wander out of the camp alone as there may be dangerous wild animals lurking around outside camps

Wildlife
As one of the densest game areas in Africa, it is no surprise that South Luangwa National Park wildlife is incredibly diverse and abundant. Some of the main species to be found within the valley and park plains include reedbuck, roan, sable, hartebeest, grysbok, klipspringer and oribi, while large numbers of lion, leopard and huge herds of elephant can also be seen.
