Wine Tasting in Africa

Sample some of the Cape's finest wine blends. Enjoy fine wines from the Constantia Valley or the classic Wine Route. Range of varieties on offer to taste.

Cape Winelands

The Cape is home to some of the world’s finest wine farms, with award winning varieties including Spier, Jordan and Springfield.  The most common varieties are Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Pinotage, Pinot-Noir and Method Cap Classic.

The Cape is known for its top wines, with two main wine growing regions to be explored, both offering wine tasting. While the Wine Route is the most famous wine tasting destination, and includes stops at farms in Stellebosch, Franschoek and Paarl, there is another wine route further down the peninsula.

Constantia Winelands

The Constantia Valley is rich and fertile, with ideal grape growing conditions. Wine estates such as Groot Constantia and Klein Constantia are situated within this valley. The drive through this valley is breathtaking; with endless tree lined roads with vineyards in the fields as far as the eye can see. Groot Constantia offers a comprehensive wine tasting experience, as well as wine sales at good value.

Picnics or farm lunches can be enjoyed on the farm grounds to wind off the wine tasting.
