A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.

Day 1, Victoria Falls to Lusaka
After the wonder of misty Victoria Falls we head off towards the bustling Zambian capital of Lusaka.
Day 2, Lusaka to
We journey from bustling Lusaka to our overnight stop situated just a few kilometers from the Malawi/Zambia border.

Day 3 to 4, Chipata to South Luangwa National Park
After a early start we drive to the South Luangwa National Park and spend 2 nights beside the Luangwa River. There is a good chance that you might see some of parks high concentration of leopard and hippo. A visit to the community run tribal textile project and a local village is also planned. NB: In the rainy season occasionally it is impossible to reach South Luangwa NP. If this happens an alternative itinerary will run.
Day 5, South Luangwa National Park
We have a full day to explore the park in search of the variety of wildlife found in the park.

Day 6, South Luangwa National Park to Lake Malawi
This morning we set off for Malawi, the warm heart of Africa. Our destination tonight is the shores of Lake Malawi, the southernmost lake in the East African Rift system. We spend the night on the shores of this natural wonder.
Day 7 to 8, Lake Malawi
Taking our time this morning we enjoy the charms of sunrise on the Lake, we head out this afternoon and come to rest on the northern reaches of the lake shore. Here we spend a few days indulging in the many attractions that underlie the charm of the Lake and its people. Our base for the next three nights offers a range of opportunities to satisfy every wish.

Day 9, Iringa
Today we leave Malawi and enter Tanzania. We ascend out of the Great Rift Valley through some spectacular mountain passes, passing vast tea plantations in the highlands before arriving at our camp outside Iringa. This evening our dinner is in a local Masai Hut where we enjoy a traditional Tanzanian evening.
Day 10, Iringa
We leave Iringa today and head north to the Mikumi National Park. Mikumi is home to lion, zebra, wildebeest, impala, buffalo and elephant and today we have the opportunity to enjoy an optional afternoon game drive through the park.

Day 11, Iringa to Dar Es Salaam
Our journey today brings us out of the cool highland region to the humid Indian ocean coastal city of Dar es Salaam. Meaning ‘house of peace’ in Arabic, Dar es Salaam is the economic and trade capital of Tanzania, but inland Dodoma remains the official capital city. Your tour ends upon arrival in Dar es Salaam.
