Valley of the Kings & Queens Tour

The ancient Egyptians laid their dead to rest on the west bank of the Nile for that is where the sun sets.

The west bank opposite Luxor city is a veritable honey comb of funerary temples and ancient tombs mainly for important folks of the 20th Dynasty or thereabouts.

The guided Valley of the Kings & Queens Tour is therefore a compulsory must-do on any Egypt trip.

More recently famous for the discovery of Tutankhamun’s un-robbed tomb (whose artefacts are held in the Cairo Antiquities Museum), previously undiscovered tombs are being excavated as we speak.

Why do the Valley of the Kings & Queens Tour?

Resting place of Queens and Pharaohs
West Bank of the Nile
Robbed and mysterious
Guided Tour
Tutankhamuns tomb
