Uganda is the famous setting of the movie "Gorillas in the mist". Two of the best places to view these human like primates are in the areas of the Bwindi National Park and Mgahinga National Park.

In the jungles of Bwindi impenetrable Forest live half the world's population of highly endangered Mountain Gorillas. Visiting them is one of the most emotional wildlife encounters you will ever experience. It is possible to get up close and personal with the gorillas but one must always remember to keep quiet as even the shutter of the camera may disturb these wonderful creatures.

Mgahinga National Park is small in size and stature but its beauty makes it a popular tourist hotspot. This dense tropical rainforest lies gracefully at the foot of the lower slopes of a volcano. Because the park is so small, these mountain gorillas are used to an audience and will readily put on a show for you!
