As a largely tourist orientated resort town, Oludeniz culture seen on your Overlanding Africa.com trip is not quite as rich and traditional as other part of Turkey, however the resort has its own unique culture – beaches, good food, clubs and fun are the order of the day, with a dose of history and ancient culture thrown in for good measure.

Parties and clubs:

While the resort itself has a few good bars, mostly the nearby town of Fethiye is where all the action happens. The town has a number of bars, clubs and party venues that are open until the early hours.

Food and cuisine:

With a typical Mediterranean atmosphere, you will be able to enjoy everything from delicious fresh seafood to speciality Turkish dishes in Oludeniz, with plenty of excellent dining options to be enjoyed on your holiday.

Historical sites:

The resort and its surrounds is home to a number of important historical sites and ancient ruins, including the Lycian sarcophagus, Roman ruins, cave tombs and other sites.
