About Dougga

Dougga is the site of ancient Roman ruins situated in Tunisia, 100km west of the capital city of Tunis. Dougga backpacking tours are a must for any traveller with ancient ruins and a fascinating heritage, and are ideal for day trips on Tunisia getaways.

•This ancient city is very peaceful and quiet with almost no problems or crime at all
•Some of the ruins have not been uncovered, so be careful when walking through the area
