The Trans Africa tour presents the most challenging form of overland travel and is not for the faint hearted or anyone who lacks a sense of humor. Being with a group of people for such a long period of time will result in life-long friendships and sharing of many unique experiences along the way. As with any trans Africa overland travel through some remote parts of Africa you must expect a often high degree of hardship: digging the truck out of mud, sand matting in the Sahara, and still be ready to participate in the day to day activities such as buying food, cooking and gathering fire wood. A team effort is required every time.
