Egypt has a number of ancient temples and pyramids. One of the most beautiful temples is in Karnak, and has beautiful architecture dating back to ancient civilisations. The temples of Luxor are also worth visiting.

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in Tanzania is situated in Daar es Salaam and is a Sai temple adorned with beautiful carvings and religious artefacts.

There is a Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu temple in Nairobi which is extremely beautiful, with intricate details and religious artefacts.

The Grand Mosquee in the ancient town of Djenne in Mali is a magnificent structure, with stunning architecture to behold.  This mosque was built in 1820 and is made entirely of mud bricks. In fact, this mosque is the largest mud brick building in the world.
