About Segera

You'll find the beautiful town of Tanzania's Segera thriving with lush vegetation. Segera is known for its nearby attractions and isn't a place where travellers go for highlights within the town. The appeal of Segera is that it's located near so many beautiful natural attractions. A few of the nearby highlights include the Mamhumba Mbuga marshes, Sejeli town, Ikowa Dam and Rungwe Mountain.

Overlanding Africa

Segera is a one of Africa's green locations where the natural surrounds are rich and lush.

Lake Ngozi

Found in the same region as Segera is Lake Ngozi. Lake Ngozi is a big deal because it's dubbed the second largest Crater Lake in Africa. The lake lives near Tukuyu, in Rungwe District, Mbeya Region.

You may find yourself travelling through Segera enroute to a more exciting location, but as with every location you encounter along the way - take a moment to appreciate the small town for the purpose it serves.
