This majestic mountain lies on the northern boundary of Tanzania and is situated on an open plain. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and provides breathtaking views from the summit. There are altitude changes as you ascend Kilimanjaro and it takes some adjusting to get used to these changes!

Many travellers climb part of the way up this majestic mountain and as they ascend they discover views of the forest, open moorland, snow covered plateaus and the mists of the equatorial jungle.
