Masai Village in Tanzania

The Masai villages around Tanzania are proud of their strong and mighty Masai warriors. Whilst visiting a village you will be rewarded with the Masai in traditional dress and be enlightened about their culture and beliefs. The Masai women do all of the work in the Masai tribes and the men are considered to be the "warriors". The tribe is easily recognizable by the red that they wear.

The way the Masai huts are built are far from how western homes are built. The Masai huts are made out of cow dung!

The Masai tribe is one of the most interesting tribes that exists in Africa today. You may have the opportunity to tour the village whilst a young warrior is getting married. If you are so lucky as to witness the ceremony, then you may be invited to try some of the traditional foods on offer!
