The Great Rift Valley is comprised mainly of forest, woodlands and swamps. This park forms part of the Great Rift Valley and is fairly small in size compared to many other parks, but its beauty alone is worth seeing. The park is mainly famous for the tree-climbing lions that make visitors return to the Lake Manyara National Park.

This area is a birding paradise that has more species of bird in one area than any of the other National Parks. Enjoy an opportunity to explore this park which is part of the Great Rift Valley.
