Safari in Syria - What to Pack for your Safari?

Those doing their last minute packing for their safari in Syria may be wondering – what to pack for your safari? The best bet is to consider what time of year you will be in the country, to work out what kind of clothing you will need. In the Spring and Autumn months you will be able to wear lighter clothing, with perhaps a warm jacket or two on the occasional cooler day or evening, while in summer you will need plenty of light, loose fitting clothing to cope in the heat. In Winter, a rain jacket and plenty of warm clothing will be needed.

Aside from clothing, you will also need comfortable walking or hiking shoes, sandals for the beaches, swimwear, sun protection, sunglasses and hat, as well as scarves for ladies to cover up when visiting mosques and other landmarks in Syria. Camera, spare batteries and memory card are also advised.
