Syria Airports

Syria airports are generally well maintained, offering international and domestic flights. Air travel is one of the easiest ways to travel in Syria, and with international airports in the capital and other major cities, it is easy enough for travelers to navigate around the country or get in through Turkey by air.

Airports in Syria

Major airports in Syria include DAM, which is the Damascus International Airport situated just a few kilometers outside of the capital city; ALP, which is Aleppo International Airport, situated just outside of the town of Aleppo and LTK, which is Lattakia International Airport, found just outside of the town of Lattakia. Shuttles are always on hand to take travelers to and from the airport.

There is also a smaller airport in Palmyra, which is handy for travel to this part of Syria. The airport does not do international flights, but does so domestic flights for local travel.
