Day 1, Johannesburg to Hazyview
Johannesburg is where your tour will begin. Today is a travelling day so we have a early morning departure. We make our way to the outskirts of the renown Kruger National Park - home of the Big 5.
Day 2, Hazyview to Kruger National Park
Game Drives and animal spotting take up our day with the odd stop for lunch or a swim if the weather allows.
Day 3, Kruger National Park to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
We bid farewell to the Kruger region and make our way to the Kingdom of Swaziland, using the rest of the day to explore the rich Swazi culture and activities on offer in the Mlilwane National park.
Day 4, Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
Our day here is spent at leisure as we explore the many optional activities. Choose between mountain biking, horse riding or self-guided walks through the sanctuary.
Day 5, Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary to Greater St. Lucia Wetlands National Park
Leaving Swaziland we re-enter South Africa and make our way down to the warm Indian Ocean coast. Our afternoon is spent exploring the Greater St Lucia Wetland park - which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. Weather depending we could spend some time on a boat cruise on the lagoon.
Day 6, St. Lucia Wetlands
Our day is at leisure in the charming town of St Lucia. Explore the nearby Hluhluwe/Umfolozi National Park, relax on the beach or take part in one of many optional activities.
Day 7, St Lucia Wetlands National Park to Durban
Leaving the town of St Lucia we make our way to the coastal city of Durban which is also known as a surfer's paradise!
Day 8 to 10, Durban to Drakensberg
Leaving Durban we travel to Dundee and the 'Battlefields' region. The battles fought in this region played an immense role in shaping South Africa’s history. The Drakensburg Mountains are our next stop where we have the opportunity to see some bushman paintings explore the stunning landscape.
Day 11 to 13, Drakensberg to Johannesburg
An early start as we travel through the Royal Natal National Park and into Lesotho where we spend the next two nights. Meet the traditional Basotho people and try a pony trek or guided walk through this gorgeous country. We then cross the border into South Africa and head for Johannesburg.
