St Lucia Boat Cruise
Ahoy! Take to the waters aboard the Santa Lucia on a St Lucia Boat Cruise.
This Mississippi-style viewing boat provides the finest opportunities to view Crocodiles as well as Hippo wallowing in the shallows of the St Lucia estuary.
Lake St Lucia comprises the largest estuarine system on the African continent and was declared a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO on 1 Dec 1999.
Lake St Lucia is also of regional importance for duck and other water bird populations which are able to survive here when there are severe droughts elsewhere in Southern Africa.
Once the drought is over, these birds migrate northwards to restock the wetlands in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
Why do the St Lucia Boat Cruise?
