South Luangwa National Park Game Drive

The old North and South Luangwa Game Reserves combined with several smaller game reserves to form the South Luangwa National Park as we know it today.

With over 60 different animal species and over 400 different bird species the concentration of game in this reserve is among the most intense in all of Africa!

The Luangwa River is the life blood of the South Luangwa National Park and experts call this ‘one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world’.

Relatively untouched by major tourism you will have the chance to get close to some of the park inhabitants without having to fight for a viewing spot.

Why do the South Luangwa National Park Game Drive?

Virtually untouched by huge volumes of tourism 'One of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world'
