A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.
Day 1, Johannesburg to Pilgrims Rest (via Blyde River Canyon)
We head east to the sunshine province of Mpumalanga. Spectacular viewpoints and waterfalls characterize this province as we travel via the Blyderiver Canyon to the Gold mining town of Pilgrim's Rest.
Day 2, Pilgrims Rest to Kruger National Park
Taking a scenic drive we drive to the world known Kruger National Park where we game drive in search of the Big 5.
Day 3, Kruger National Park
Game Drives and animal spotting take up our day with the odd stop for lunch or a swim if the weather allows.
Day 4, Kruger National Park to Inhambane
From the grasslands of the Kruger we enter tropical Mozambique and make our way to the Indian Ocean coast line.
Day 5 to 8, Inhambane
We spend our time enjoying some of the optional activities available. Try your hand at Scuba Diving, Quad Biking, Fishing, Horse Riding or take a Boat Cruise on the bay. If that sounds like too much work then just relax on the white sand beaches with a good book or your journal
Day 9, Inhambane to Maputo
Leaving the white sand beaches and laid back vibe of Inhambane we travel further south and discover the hustle and bustle of the capital - Maputo. Spend the afternoon exploring this historic African city.
Day 10, Maputo to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary (via Mbabane)
We cross the border and enter the smallest country in the southern hemisphere - the Kingdom of Swaziland. After visiting the capital of Mbabane we travel down the Ezulwini valley to the Mlilwane Wildlife sanctuary.
Day 11, Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
Our day here is spent at leisure as we explore the many optional activities. Choose between mountain biking, horse riding or self-guided walks through the sanctuary.
Day 12 to 13, Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary to Kosi Bay
Entering South Africa we head for the Kosi Bay Nature Reserve. This protected coastal area covers lakes, magrove forests, fertile estuaries and sweeping beaches.
Day 14, Kosi Bay to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve
Off to the Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park where we spend our days game driving through the oldest National Park in South Africa looking for Lion, Black-and White Rhino and other species of wildlife.
Day 15, Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve to Drakensberg
Further into KwaZulu Natal we travel to the Drakensberg mountain mountains, known by the Zulu as the 'barrier of spears'. Drakensberg is also a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its outstanding natural beauty.
Day 16, Drakensberg
A free day in this magnificent mountain region allows time to relax, take a day trip to Lesotho, mountain bike, Heritage site hike, rock climb or horse ride.
Day 17, Drakensberg to Addo Elephant National Park
We make our way down to the Addo Elephant National Park where we enjoy some more game drives in search off...you guessed it...Elephants!
Day 18, Addo Elephant National Park
We spend our day game driving through the Addo Elephant National Park which is not only famous for the many Elephants but also hosts Black Rhino, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard and many other species.
Day 19, Addo Elephant National Park to Tsitsikamma National Park
We make our way down the Indian Ocean coast to the indigenous forests of Tsitsikamma. This famous area along the Garden route rewards visitors with spectacular scenery and bird watching.
Day 20, Tsitsikamma National Park
Our day is at leisure to explore all the optional activities on offer in this adventure village. From Tree top Canopy tours, Blackwater Tubing and Forest tours to the World's highest Bungee jump!
Day 21, Tsitsikamma National Park to Hermanus
Along the coastline we pass through Knysna on our way to the town of Hermanus, famous for its whales.
Day 22, Hermanus to Cape Town
After a leisurely morning we take a short drive to Cape Town where our tour comes to an end.
