Kosi Bay is a series of four interlinked lakes in the Maputuland area of KwaZulu-Natal Province in South Africa.

Other wildlife and animals in the area include crocodiles, duiker, Leatherback and Loggerhead turtles which come to nest on the shores and there is also an aggressive population of Bull sharks, which come into the estuary via the nearby sea. These sharks are locally known as Zambezi sharks.
Fishing is a huge industry in Kosi Bay, with the main fishing method being fish traps which are placed all along the estuary to trap fish moving in and out of the area with the tide.
