Africa's Best Skydiving Destinations

For those who live on the edge and crave an extreme dose of excitement, Africa has a number of great skydiving destinations to experience.

Cape Town has some great skydiving spots, including a great jump over the Atlantic Ocean which gives some fantastic views of endless blue seas and beautiful coastline.

Hermanus in the West Coast has some great skydiving. In addition, jumpers can also see whales in season (from June to October) and abseil off some of the great mountain areas in this region.

Plettenberg Bay along the Garden Route,  offers some great jumps with beautiful sea views and the added beauty of the Robberg Nature Reserve to see.

Kenya offers some incredible skydiving over Diani Beach, with breathtaking views of calm waters. Jumpers may even get to spot some game if they are lucky.

Safe Skydiving in Africa

Skydivers must always ensure that they follow proper safety precautions to the last details, and only ever jump with registered and reputable skydiving operators. New jumpers should always ensure that they do the introductory course before attempting a jump, to ensure safety and precautions.
