Rwanda Budget Safaris
The tiny, war-ravaged country of Rwanda has a history seeped in violence and tragedy, but this country is also rich with an abundance of wildlife – including the world-famous mountain gorilla. Rwanda budget safaris offer a fascinating glimpse into this magnificent country.
There are a number of quick and cheap ways to travel around Rwanda, including taxi-velo (bicycle taxi), motor-taxis, by foot, bus or mini-bus.

Hi Elizabeth, our travels through Rwanda are based with scheduled overland truck safaris where groups partake in the Gorilla trekking in the area (this is dependent on where the trekking permit is obtained for. I have emailed you some more information! Happy trails!

Hi Karolina. Yes, Swahili is spoken in Rwanda however it is not an official language. There are 3 official languages in Rwanda: Kinyarwanda, English and French (this is all reflected above). English is the most widely spoken language in Rwanda. Cheers!

Since when is Swahili spoken in Rwanda? As far as I know all other countries in the region are regretting the fact that no Swahili is spoken in Rwanda and they cannot communicate with each other. And what has happened to Kinyarwanda I wonder? Please make sure the info you advertise is correct.

Hi Savi, this pretty much depends on what you are going to do in Rwanda, if you are going on vacation or for business. Bring long skirts and long pants, walking sandals and hiking boots, short and long sleeve blouses. You can have your clothes laundered and pressed for a few dollars at nice, local hotels. For hiking, Tencel pants work great - they don't pick up briars and nettles as jeans do and when they got wet, they dry quickly. Good hiking boots are a must, otherwise you will slip and slide. Mosquito nets are not a bad idea especially when there are many mosquito's around. Hope that helps! Cheers

So the language in Rwanda (aka Rwanada) is Swahili and the coldest months are June and July (ie during the dry season). Brilliant!
