Photo Safari

Look at Africa from a new perspective with a specialist photo safari designed for the 'camera enthusiast'. You do not need to be a professional photographer or even know much about your camera to enjoy these photographic tours! They are designed for the discerning traveller with a ‘decent camera’ and a need to take some award winning safari photos!

Photography Tours

These specialty photography tours cater for travellers who wish to learn about taking better photographs while still appreciating the culture, history and wildlife of the African continent while on their African photo safari.

African Safari Photos

Although film cameras still exist, digital cameras have taken the world 'by storm' and the purpose built overland vehicle is specifically adapted to accommodate the needs of all.

Those with digital cameras can download images from your memory card to the on-board laptop computers and burn straight to CD/DVD for safe storage. On-board multi-card readers and 12-volt chargers for all electronic equipment are included.

On-tour photography workshops (led by your qualified Tour Leader), and campfire discussions on various aspects of photography help you gain a better insight into the places that you visit as well as improving your technique in areas such as lighting and composition and include special 'tricks' to get the best possible African safari photos.

African Photography

Africa is a continent of contrasts and avid photographers are rewarded with images of perfect sunsets, never ending desert roads, red sand dunes, snow-capped mountains, quaint cities, savannah grasslands, "Big 5" land animals, birdlife, marine life, azure waters, palm fringed beaches and a unique geology. Africa's wildlife and dramatic landscapes make for some award-winning photographic opportunities. You won't go home disappointed!
