Day 1, Johannesburg to Ghanzi
Leaving behind the city of Johannesburg, we travel through the North-West Province to the Botswana border. After completing border formalities we continue on the Trans-Kalahari highway to our overnight stop in the small village of Kang, the gateway to the Kalahari.
Day 2, Ghanzi
After breakfast we venture deeper into the Central Kalahari and our camp in the Ghanzi district, here we will spend time getting to know the fascinating San people. After lunch we will join our San guides for a guided walk that will introduce us to the many secrets of their survival in the Kalahari Desert. This evening we will get a first-hand experience of the San culture, well known for its rich traditions of song, dance and story-telling.
Day 3, Ghanzi to Maun
This morning we bid farewell to the San and make our way to Maun, gateway to the Okavango Delta.
Day 4, Okavango Delta
This morning we embark on our exploration of the Okavango Delta, one of Africa’s great wilderness areas. This unique and unusual ecosystem sees the annual flood waters of the Okavango River fan out into the sands of the Kalahari Basin. The seasonality of the flood waters lends the Delta its
ever changing character.
Day 5, Okavango Delta
Early morning and late afternoon game walks give you time in the middle of the day to relax, chill out and enjoy your surroundings. Why don't you have a go at poling your own mokoro? It is not as easy as it looks!
Day 6, Okavango Delta to Caprivi Strip via (Maun)
Leaving the Delta behind us this morning we make our way across the border into Namibia and travel to the Caprivi Strip, part of our day is spent travelling through wildlife areas and there is always the possibility of a lucky sighting. We overnight a short distance from the Botswana border as we prepare for an exciting day of activities in the Chobe National Park tomorrow.
Day 7, Caprivi Strip to Kasane
We enjoy our breakfast in Namibia this morning before returning to Botswana and our camp on the banks of the Chobe River. The afternoon is set aside for exploring the Chobe National Park. The day ends with a leisurely Boat
Cruise and a meal served around the campfire.
Day 8, Kasane to Victoria Falls
After a hearty brunch we make our way into Zimbabwe and to Victoria Falls. Approx 1700 m wide and 100 m high, Victoria Falls is a memorable sight! Take part in one of the many adventure activities or relax by the pool.
Day 9, Victoria Falls
The last day on safari gives you the opportunity to just relax and enjoy this spectacular natural wonder or you can join in the adrenalin rush that Victoria Falls is known for. Most activities are available throughout the year. On the ground the Falls can be seen from the Victoria Falls Park or from the Zambian side. Take a flight which will give you a panoramic view of the Falls, Batoka Gorge and the islands above the falls. Photographic opportunities abound. We suggest you allow yourself a few days after your safari if you wish to partake in some of the many activities.

The highlight of my trip had to be Gweru in Zimbabwe, it was my idea of paradise. So much to do there with the animals and the location of it was just beautiful!
