Mozambique - Then… and WOW!

A few decades ago not many Mozambicans would have admitted that they were proudly Mozambican. No thanks to a stormy past, the country has been rebuilt to the paradise it once was and now who can say that they are not proud of such a remarkable place. There is so much to see including island hopping, beautiful beaches and interesting colonial architecture. Colorful local cultures and the friendliest people combined with a real African vibe make this one of the most enjoyable countries in Africa.

Known for its superb white sandy beaches, warm waters, alluring golden sunsets and tall palm trees, Mozambique is the perfect place for sun bathing, scuba diving, dhow trips, swimming with dolphins or just to relax, people watch and take in the sights of this African paradise.

On a small cliff overlooking Maputo Bay lays the city of Maputo – the buzzing capital of Mozambique - bustling with a strong African flavor, exciting nightlife, local markets and interesting people. Just off the coast are two islands - Inhaca Island and Portuguese Island - attractive to travelers from all over the world because of the natural, unspoiled beauty and extraordinary scenery. Mozambique is known for its fresh seafood delicacies which can be found in one of the many laid back, yet exquisite restaurants that not only serve delicious platters of prawns, but also great tasting local beers!
