Spitzkoppe Budget Travel

Spitzkoppe is a group of granite peaks situated between Swakopmund and Usakos in the Namib Desert.

Minette - OverlandingAfrica.com20 May 2011: Hi Louise! There is a designated camp site called Spitzkoppe Camp which has ablution facilities and designated camping sites. They also have basic bungalows available but to the best of our knowledge they do not have pre erected tents for hire. You can contact Spitzkoppe Camp at 264 64 530879 for updated information. Tania - OverlandingAfrica.com01 Dec 2009: Hi Heidi, You can head to Spitzkoppe and pay for your camping and entrance at the gate on arrival - there is no need to book in advance most of the time. It is a huge camping area with numerous designated campsites so rarely gets full. Otherwise you can contact Spitzkoppe Campsite direct on 264 64 530879. Have fun!
