About Popa Falls

Popa Falls is situated in Namibia's Caprivi Region. Even though the site is called Popa Falls, the stretch of flowing is water is actually a run of rapids and isn't a waterfall.

Popa Falls

What creates the Popa Falls rapids is a run of the Okavango Delta's water supply over a string of bounders. Voila - Popa Falls is created.

Popa Falls may not be a waterfall, or even the biggest rapid in Africa, but it most definitely is a beautiful location that's perfect for enjoying adventure activities around.
