About Bwabwata National Park

For a game-rich safari off the beaten track, head on up to Bwabwata National Park in Namibia. The wildlife, bird life, vegetation and landscapes are going to make your camera work like they've never worked before, I tell you.

The national park is a bit of a thoroughfare for elephants and other game. It's bang in the middle of their migration route from Botswana to Angola.

The Trans-Caprivi Highway (B8) is the main road that runs between the towns of Rundu, Katima Mulilo, and Bwabwata, linking Namibia to Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

If you're looking for a national park to enjoy an authentic African safari in, Bwabwata won't disappoint. It's got over 400 bird species you know! 400! That's awesome.
