A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.
Day 1, Windhoek to Sesriem
A scenic drive takes us past the Eros and Naukluft Mountains and we enter the oldest desert in the world as we head to Sesriem - home base of the Sossusvlei Dune Field.
Day 2, Sesriem to Sesriem (via Sossusvlei)
An early start as we enter into the park and head for Dune 45. Clamber to the top for a stunning high-point view over the dunes. We continue to Sossusvlei and from here you will have your own free time to explore the vlei or the surrounding area. Stunning photographic opportunities are available in the dunes so bring those cameras!!
Day 3, Sesriem to Swakopmund
A spectacular sunset awakens us this morning. We travel north towards Walvis Bay via some glorious desert passes, and make our way along the coast, before finally arriving in Namibia's prime adventure resort - Swakopmund.
Day 4, Swakopmund
A leisure day today to get the feel of this quaint German town sandwiched between the edge of a massive dune field and the ocean. Take on some adventure activities or relax in a cafe on the beachfront.
Day 5, Swakopmund to Brandberg
We travel up the coast to visit the Cape Cross Seal Colony before heading to Namibia's highest peak - Brandberg (burning mountain) where bushman rock paintings can be seen in the foothills.
Day 6 to 7, Brandberg to Palmwag (via Twyfelfontein)
Breaking camp we travel into the Twyfelfontein region to see the impressive and ancient rock engravings this area boasts. After our guided walk we continue into the beautiful Damaraland region and our overnight stop. The next day we have a easy drive into more remote parts of Namibia and reach the edge of Etosha National Park. Relax by the pool or take part in some optional game and nature viewing activities.
Day 8, Palmwag to Etosha National Park
We have special permission to be able to enter the western side of Etosha National Park and we aim for the facilities at Okaukuejo Camp. This is where our main game driving starts before we reach tonights stop just after lunchtime. This afternoon can be spent by the pool and this evening we have sundowners at the floodlit waterhole. Amazing game viewing from the comfort of your park bench.
Day 9, Etosha National Park
A full day of game drives and waterhole viewing as we try to catch a glimpse of some of the plains game and Big 5 that reside in Etosha National Park.
Day 10, Etosha National Park
Today we enjoy a full day of game driving, making our way east along the length of the park. After dinner make your way to another floodlit water hole to see what animals arrive at the water to drink, or relax at the campsite.
Day 11, Etosha National Park
We have a full day of game driving, making our way from east to west, across 150kms of the park. We relax this evening listening to the sounds of Africa. Floodlit waterholes allow us to get as close to the action as possible, and still be behind the fence!
Day 12, Etosha National Park to Windhoek
We leave the wildlife to head to the capital city of Windhoek. You may wish to explore this city steeped in German atmosphere or choose to enjoy a flagon of ale at one of the local taverns.
