Sossusvlei Dunes, Sesriem & Namib Naukluft Park in Namibia

A popular and alternative way of seeing the dunes is to book a ride in a hot air balloon. A bird's eye view provides for some exceptional views of red hue's and an amazing sea of picture perfect colour. There is a gravel road from Sesriem making the dunes of Sossusvlei an easily accessible area.

The Sossusvlei Dunes are located in the Namib Naukluft Park and is the largest conservation area in Namibia that is home to steenbok, springbok, kudu, mountain zebra and many bird species. There are several different landscapes existing within one area making it a fascinating area of contrasts. It consists of the Namib desert and the wetter region of Sandwich harbour.
