Minette - OverlandingAfrica.com14 Sep 2011: Hi Bent! Most rental companies will allow you to take a vehicle the border to Mozambique from South Africa and Swaziland. You just have to pay a cross border fee. I have sent you an email with more information. Cheers!

For all your inoculations you will have to contact your closest Travel Clinic or Tropical Diseases Centre to find out what you might require for travel to Mozambique.We also have great section on what to pack for your trip. tlou03 Jul 2009: Hi enquiry is about ferry from inhaca island to maputo, how much it cost, how often those it travel from one place to the other and a schedule of the ferry.
Tania - OverlandingAfrica.com03 Jul 2009: Hi there, I don't know too much about the current status of the ferry I am afraid. Last I heard it only runs on the weekend departing Porto de Pesca, Maputo at 0800 and departing Inhaca Island at 1500. Tickets can be purchased at the ferry boarding point. Good luck!
