Inhambane Budget Travel

Inhambane is a sleepy town situated in Mozambique, about 485 km north of Maputo.

Due to its proximity to resort towns in Tofo Bay, which is just 30 km east of Ihambane, Inhambane budget travel is a popular option on most Mozambique overland tours.

Scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing and swimming are some of the most popular activities, with beautiful clear blue water and endless white stretches of sand to enjoy.

A visit to some of the markets along the Main Road is well worth the effort, as these stalls sell everything from beach sandals to delicious fresh seafood – and prices are very reasonable.

There are a number of good, cheap restaurants as well as some in the mid range. There is even a good pizza parlour at Pensao Pachica which also serves its famous speciality, crab curry.
