Mozambique Conservation

In a country that is rife with environmental issues, Mozambique conservation is essential to protect the country’s endangered species. Poaching has long been one of the most serious threats facing Mozambique’s wildlife, and is the direct cause of Black rhino being critically endangered to the point of near extinction. While problems are still in effect, conservation groups work tirelessly to prevent further damage.

Preservation Mozambique

Preservation Mozambique efforts are mostly focused on protecting the wildlife, marine life and natural habitats of Mozambique, which face a number of environmental issues ranging from poaching to over-hunting, agricultural practices such as slash and burn, habitat loss from urbanisation and of course pollution. There are many protected areas across the country, with a number of national parks and reserves put into place in order to protect the country’s precious natural resources.
