Mozambique airports for international flights include Maputo International Airport, Beira International Airport and Nampula International Airport. Of these, the largest airport is Maputo International, which is situated about 5km outside of the capital city. In addition to these international airports, a number of smaller domestic airports can also be found – many of which are more like small landing fields. Most travel within the country is done by road however, so you will most likely not have to worry about domestic flights.

While airports in Mozambique are not really on the same level as first world airports, they are relatively well-run, with all the basic facilities you may need, such as car hire, taxi services, bank, restaurant, bar and post office. While it is functional and clean, it is however in need of an upgrade, so do not expect a fancy airport with first class facilities.
