A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.
Day 1, Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
After leaving bustling Johannesburg we head directly to the greater Kruger National Park. We stop in Dullstroom at Harries Pancakes. At the Kruger National Park we spend our time game driving.
and travelling through scenic Mpumalanga, we reach Swaziland and Hlane Royal National Park. The Highveld gives way to Lowveld and to the bush land that wildlife love the most.
Day 2, Kruger National Park
Optional this day is to do a guided night and dawn game drive. You can also partake in some of the many other activities, such as mountain biking.
A free day to partake in some of the many optional activities on offer...if you want to.... such as Mountain Biking, Game Drives or a Lion Tour.
Day 3, Kruger National Park to Timbavati
We leave Kruger and head for one of the most stunning scenic spots in South Africa - the well named 'Panorama Route'. You can gaze at the awe inspiring Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and Bourke's Luck Potholes. If you don't want to do the Panorama Route, you may stay behind in Kruger.
Day 4, Kruger National Park to Hlane Royal National Park
The next two days will be spent at Hlana Royal National Park in Swaziland. Thanks to the 22,000 hectares of bushveld Hlane got its name. 'Hlane' means 'wilderness' in siSwati.
Day 5, Hlane Royal National Park
Be ready for the real Umphakatsi Swazi Experience. We are going to visit an authentic living homestead where you can engage with the residents and learn about their culture and traditions.
Day 6, Hlane Royal National Park to Maputo
Leaving the wilderness behind us, we are crossing the border and heading to the hustle and bustle of Mozambique's capital - Maputo. The afternoon we are exploring this historic African city.
Day 7, Maputo to Inhambane
From Maputo we drive to Inhambane, the old European settlement. Here the white sand beaches are waiting for you and the moment you step out the truck you can feel the laid back vibe hanging in the air. If that's not enough you will also be spoiled with a traditional Mozambique meal.
Day 8, Inhambane
A free day to enjoy some of the optional activities available. Try your hand at Scuba Diving, Quad Biking, Fishing, Horse Riding or take a Boat Cruise on the bay. If that sounds like too much work then just relax on the white sand beaches with a good book or your journal.
Day 9, Inhambane
You can choose from relaxing or relaxing or relaxing or some optional activites such as snorkeliongor a ocean safari.
Day 10, Inhambane to Vilanculos
After an Imhambane city tour we are leaving this paradise to travel further north through the beautiful coconut plantations to Vilanculos and prepare for our excursion to the Bazaruto Archipelago.
Day 11, Vilanculos to Bazaruto
We sail on a traditional Dhow to the stunning islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago where we can snorkel, swim and soak up the sun. Tropical waters and gorgeous coral and reef life make for a amazing day!
Day 12, Bazaruto to Maputo
Just north of Maputo lies Xai Xai, a bustling town with markets, shops, restaurants and bars.
Day 13, Maputo to Kruger National Park
We bid farewell to Mozambique and re-enter South Africa to Marloth Park, situated next to Kruger National Park.
Day 14, Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
Before we head back to Johannesburg we start our final day with a morning game drive.
