A day-by-day breakdown of what to expect and where you'll be staying.
Day 1, Marrakech
Today we pick you up from the airport and transfer you to our hotel in the city. This is a free day to explore this vibrant city before returning to the hotel for our pre-departure meeting. Afterwards we are off to dinner at a popular local restaurant.
Day 2 to 3, Marrakech to Todra Gorge
Leaving Marrakech we travel through the stunning valley of Gorges du Dades on our way to the equally stunning Todra Gorge. Gorgeous scenery awaits even the most amateur photographer and between the gorges look out for the numerous Kasbahs hidden in the hills.
Day 4, Todra Gorge to Erg Chebi
Today we make our way to the edge of the Sahara desert and our destination, Erg Chebbi. Here we prepare for our camel trek and overnight desert camp! After an unforgettable dune-top sunset, our desert Berber cameleers will produce an astonishingly tasty and filling dinner from their small cooking tent, usually followed by an impromptu concert of nomad music.
Day 5, Erg Chebi to Ouarzazate
Leaving the desert today we head trough the Draa Valley - the route of a 'thousand Kasbahs' - on our way to Ouarzazate. This ancient and important trade route stopover has since been used as a set for movies such as The Living Daylights and Alexander the Great!
Day 6, Ouarzazate to Marrakech via (Ait ben Haddou)
Today sees us travelling to the fortified city of Ait ben Haddou perched on the ancient caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara Desert. This amazing UNESCO World Heritage site boasts some gorgeous Kasbahs.
Then we head up and over the High Atlas Mountains to tonights stop, Marrakech.
Day 7, Marrakech
Some personal exploration of Marrakech is the plan. You may wish to do some more sightseeing, try a new restaurant, 'attack' the souks for some bargains, find some boutique shops in the ville nouvelle, or hop aboard the 'City Sightseeing Bus' for a leisurely drive around the city. After dinner we could visit some of this exotic city's nightlife, or head back to Jemaa el Fna for a last look at this unique spectacle.
Day 8, Marrakech
Most international flights depart Marrakech mid-morning, so after breakfast we bid 'farewell' and 'ma sallama' and head off to the airport.

The highlight of my trip had to be Gweru in Zimbabwe, it was my idea of paradise. So much to do there with the animals and the location of it was just beautiful!
