The main Malawi airports that offer international flights in and out of the country include Lilongwe International Airport and Blantyre International Airport. As the two largest airports in the country, these airports are relatively clean and organized, offering domestic flights as well as international flights from a range of destinations.
Airports in Malawi
Generally speaking, aside from the international airport in Malawi at Lilongwe and Blantyre, there may be a few smaller domestic airports but these two are your best bet. The largest of these airports is Lilongwe International, which has facilities such as car rental agencies, taxis, a bank and bureaux de change, plus a post office, restaurant, bar and duty-free shopping. The airport is situated 12 miles (19km) from Lilongwe.
