Minette - OverlandingAfrica.com01 Feb 2012: Hi Dvora, it all depends what your definition of 'cheap' is. There are budget tours available in Madagascar however they only run with a minimum of 6 persons so it can be tricky getting on a tour that will actually run. Gordon23 Jan 2012: Do you know of any backpacking/camping trips that are easy on the pocket and cover Madacascar from N to South to get a good feel for the country and its flora/fauna - I just sem to be able to find 1 or two specialist operators who charge the earth. Any recommendations ? Thanks
Tania - OverlandingAfrica.com23 Sep 2009: Whew Annelien - what a good question! I am not aware of such a vehicle ferry operating as a scheduled service but they must have got vehicles over there some how right?! :) I understand that vehicles can be 'exported' to Madagascar by cargo or container ship but it is very expensive. I can only suggest you contact a Port Authority in either of those countries or perhaps a import/export clearing agent for advice. Good luck!
