Frank03 Aug 2011: I do want to visit this beautiful country and to see lemurs in the wild...not in the zoo and I am a big fan with reptiles. Just don't know what to join and it seems most trips I saw online are very expensive. I don't have to stay in luxury hotel...as long as there is a shelter and it is safe and I can take a shower every once a while and have my battery charged. I will be okay. Also I would like to know if there is any safe place to store some of my items before trip starts as I am very likely to visit other countries before coming to Madagascar. Thanks. Frank
Tania - OverlandingAfrica.com15 Dec 2009: Hi Alta, We have 2 or 3 scheduled tours that cover Madagascar but we don't run any in February as it is the tail end of cyclone season! :) However we can also look at a tailor made tour for you or another destination perhaps. Contact the Team via the enquiry form (top right of this screen) with as much specific info as possible as to what/where you would like to see and they can put something together to suit your perfectly. :)
Alta15 Dec 2009: Hi there I am planning on coming to Madagascar on the 7th-12th of Feb (6 days only) and would like to see as much as possible. I usually love backpacking, in this case have found no travel partner, so would still like to have the experience of rough traveling hopefully with like-minded people. I don't enjoy living in hotels and that style of traveling. My interests are experiencing as much as the culture as possible, see the baobab trees, vanilla, the lemurs, beautiful beaches, and other interesting looking sights. Not wanting to spend a whole day in a national park for example. Do you think you'll be able to accommodate me? Kind regards, Alta
