Hell-ville Budget Travel

Hell-ville, also known as Hellville or ‘hell town’, is a tiny harbour town on the island of Nosy Be in Madagascar.

This little town has very few tourists, and Hell-ville budget travel is well-recommended on Nosy Be backpacking tours, with has a wealth of interesting sights and attractions.

Hell-ville Budget Safaris

With such a small population, and a simple island lifestyle, Hell-ville budget safaris offer the holiday of a lifetime.

Visitors will have the chance to see old houses dating back to Colonial times, old cannons dating back to the time of the pirates who had a hold over this little port, old documents on the tribal history of Hell-ville as well as a host of markets (called bizaars).

Delicious fruit juices or local ice-creams can be purchased at one of the restaurants in the town, including the Oasis, the Nandipo or the Papagajo.

There are some amazing view points in Hell-ville, including the hill where the old hospital once stood. From here visitors can watch the fishing ships come in to the harbour.
