About Hell-ville

The charming coastal town of Hell-ville is a teeny harbour town in Nosy Be. Nosy Be is in Madagascar. Actually, Hell-ville doesn't just lie within Nosy Be, it's the capital. Anyway, here you can enjoy a slice of beach-life with the blue-blue waters and green-green vegetation you see in the brochures.

The city is actually named after this man - Anne Chrétien Louis de Hell.

You'll find the city hoisted up on Madagascar's shoulder, on the west coast of the country's Diana Region.

The seaside city offers piles of relaxing beach-type activities, including the chance to go out into the Madagascar seas in a boat.

You know who likes to move-it move-it? This lemur, in the nearby Nosy Be Lokobe Reserve.

If sea, sand and sun are your thing, and you're into the idea of mixing it up with soul-searching views, brilliant bars, delicious seafood and fresh island fruit and vegetables, then I think you're going to have one helluva good time in Hell-ville.
