If you keep your eyes peeled you're sure to spot some of the island's precious creatures, like this green-green day gecko. This day gecko is known by geeks as Phelsuma madagascariensis.

Diego Suarez has everything going for it in terms of it being a natural destination. It's got gorgeous beaches, beautiful forests, volcanic lakes and even a variety of Madagascar's finest wildlife. What's not to love?
