About Maseru

Maseru is the capital city of Lesotho and is hugged by a range of beautiful mountains. If you find yourself in Maseru while on an overland trip, you'll find it's a great place to stock up on supplies and get your urban fix before heading back into the wilderness. When in Maseru you're spoiled for choice when it comes to your activities. There are museums, national monuments, hikes and dams just waiting for you to experience them.

From the point of view of traveller there are loads of exciting things to experience in Maseru. If you're not on the golf course, hiking or scoping out the area's cultural gems, then you'll surely be hanging out at one of Maseru's restaurants and bars - making friends with the locals.
