Visas for Lebanon - Visa Requirements for Lebanon

For travellers organised their visas for Lebanon – visa requirements for Lebanon are fairly straight forward. Generally speaking, a valid passport of 6 months minimum is required, along with passport photographs.

Travellers should bear in mind that any traveller who has Israeli travel stamps in their passport will not be permitted to enter the country. The situation between Israel and Lebanon is currently extremely volatile, and with strained relations Israeli visitors are not welcome in the country.

The cost for a typical tourist visa varies depending on the length of stay, with single entry one month visas granted at no cost. The maximum length of visa for tourist travel is 3 months/90 days. Visas are granted by the consulate – it is probably a good idea to arrange your visa for Lebanon before leaving for the country at a Lebanese embassy in your home country, as this will make things much easier. The average wait for visa application is up to a week or more.
