Lebanon People - Overlanding Africa.com

It is incredibly difficult to describe the demographic of Beirut since no census has been taken in the last 70 years, but what can be said is Beirut has a very varied populace.

Despite being one of the smaller Middle East countries, Lebanon has a growing population with vibrant cities such as the capital of Beirut. Pretty much every major religion is represented in the country, with the exception of Judaism. This makes Lebanon one of the most diverse religious countries in the Middle East.

Generally, Lebanese people are very friendly, helpful and warm, so foreigners are always welcomed across the country. The country is divided across its different religious demographics, with different ethnic groups found across Lebanon, as there is still a noticeable level of segregation between the religious sects. Despite this, there is little to no religion-related violence or noticeable discrimination.
